Wazobia FM presenter released atlast

 

Akas Baba has been released by kidnappers and reunited with his family. 

Wazobia FM OAP, Akas Baba a.k.a Anthony Akatakpo, who was kidnapped from his home last week, has been released.

Akas was reportedly shot in the leg and abducted on Thursday, March 13, 2014, in the presence of his family at his home in Port Harcourt. Sources say his kidnappers later requested for a N10 Million ransom.

Today, Thursday, March 20, 2014, the management of Wazobia FM announced that he was released and reunited with his family in the early hours of the day.

The statement, however, failed to mention what amount, if any, was paid to the kidnappers, but it did state that Akas Baba is presently undergoing treatment.
