FFP gives Chelsea ability to resist PSG's advances for £300m pair Eden Hazard and Oscar
CHELSEA'S Jose Mourinho is not concerned about losing Eden Hazard and Oscar to PSG because he believes UEFA's Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules make it impossible.
The FFP have been put in place by UEFA president Michel Platini in part to help level the playing field and help protect smaller clubs being outspent by clubs living beyond their means.
But Mourinho clearly believes they can also come to the aid of clubs like Chelsea and help them retain their stars, despite the Roman Abramovich-backed club hardly being short of financial resource.
If there is no Financial Fair Play, £300m for both, Chelsea have to think about it.
PSG have been linked with both Hazard and Oscar in recent weeks and Mourinho has suggested that Chelsea would be powerless to stop the duo leaving for France were it not for the restrictions.
Mourinho said: "No, it's not irritating. It's no problem.
"If there is Financial Fair Play, they don't have the money to buy them.
